This is kind of a tough one. I think this question refers to complexity? I’ve seen some pretty intense games go by over the years, to be certain.
I think the most challenging, smartest game I’ve ever taken a crack at was Traveller. The ship building mechanics in that game are so complex, one may as well design it and build the thing in the backyard. Not to mention I killed at least two characters off during character creation.
Runners up include Champions, Space Master, and GURPS. Champions wasn’t bad unless you were calculating knockback IIRC. Space Master was just quirky. GURPS Magic was easier just to conjure things in your own living room. (Kidding!) Thanks for stopping by. More tomorrow. Game on.
