My apologies for being a little behind on posting these days. I’m still working on reviews. I’m working on a few different projects for Dragonbane that will maybe go up on DriveThruRPG.com in January. Holidays tend to be a bit chaotic around here, too.

The last couple of weeks have been bumpy.

One of the reasons I started this blog was to talk about some of my own issues. It’s not what people want to hear, necessarily, but if you find some value in what I’m saying then I’ve done my job. If you find it relatable and take something of value from it, I’ve done my job.

I can name probably a hundred things I’m super grateful for every day. No shade on that. But good grief I’ve been really down lately. I don’t know if it’s the weather, my health, my own kinda shitty mental health, Seasonal Affective Disorder, or something else entirely. I’ve just been feeling overwhelmed and under motivated.

That all being said, 2026 looks to be a year of change and renewal.

I intend to change some things up behind the scenes here to make life flow a bit smoother and get in the groove for the site and on YouTube. I have a lot of thoughts about some things that have been brought up on YouTube in the last couple of months that I want to do a deep dive on in the days ahead. I’m also building a portfolio page here on the site.

This is not a rebranding, however. We’re still sticking to the same content pillars around here. Dragonbane, GM advice, building worlds/campaigns, and hobby/industry hot takes or news depending. The 19th of the month will remain a sacred date for personal blogging as always. I’m also going to be building up to Twilight Sword and possibly Outgunned Superheroes content prior to getting my fuzzy little mitts on them.

Still working on that growing list of views, previews, and TTRPG reviews. I’m still happy to promote other TTRPG creators (time permitting.) The top of my list currently looks like Ghosts of Wrath from Cawood Publishing, Last Deux by Top Notch International, and Outgunned Adventure by 2 Little Mice for both the blog and YouTube. Twilight Sword and Dragonbane: Trudvang are high on my list of upcoming projects with Dragonbane being my bread and butter.

I also can’t forget my friend who I admire greatly when it comes to game design: The OG GM. He’s currently cooking up Superheroes for Shadowdark. I’ve been fortunate enough to work a little with him on this project. It’s a much beefier, punchier version of Vigilantes for Shadowdark which you can check out through my affiliate link on DriveThruRPG. (Please remember any purchases you make through that link give me a small percentage that helps grow the site and channel.) I have supers gaming in my DNA despite not talking about it nearly often enough.

Thank you for being here with me today. I appreciate you. Keep it real, but please strive for positivity, too. Please embrace the things that bring you the most joy in your life.
