Okay, I know I’m biased. I admire Andrew Cawood as a game designer. I love Travis Hanson’s art. I own the World of Myrr book and have backed the last three adventures by Cawood Publishing in the World of Myrr setting. I love everything these guys do.
A little background first.
I was a big fan of D&D 5E Wild Beyond the Witchlight. It was one of the last good official adventure settings before Wizards of the Coast kinda had their quality fall off. Meanwhile, over in the Third Party Publisher scene, Cawood Publishing put out two incredible Feyland inspired monster books along with four others that aren’t quite as fey friendly. Rise of the Mushroom King (which I reviewed here) and Fall of Rivenhelm (Link to my review.) were pretty solid adventures in that old-school-meets-new-rules niche. Lost in Feyland looks to be a very happy mix between World of Myrr and the world of the fey.
What’s in this Backerkit?

Crack the mystery of who stole the jabberwock’s egg among other things. If the group spends a significant amount of time in the Feyland, they will run across as many as 10 new monsters and a whole host of familiar faces tailored to low, mid, or high level play. The maps and art for this book look amazing as always.

There are going to be lots of exciting places to explore on very lavish, well-illustrated maps. The Cawood crew welcomes mapmaker and artist Wooter F Goedkoop to this project along with the Voyager’s Workshop. An adventuring group could well get lost in the Feylands for weeks or months of play should they wish to do so. If it’s anything like World of Myrr, entire campaigns could easily spawn from this one adventure.
Please go check out Lost in Feyland now on Backerkit. If it’s in your budget at all, I highly recommend the print. I’ve backed other print projects from Cawood Publishing and they’ve all been excellent quality plus the PDF thrown in. Someday I may even convert these adventures to Dragonbane, because it’s one of the few systems not listed.

Thank you for being here with me today. I appreciate you. Keep it real, but please strive for positivity, too. Please embrace the things that bring you the most joy in your life.
