Alas, humble Dragon Week is almost over. It saddens me to see it go already. I’m having a lot of fun with the various dragon related topics. I honestly think we should have made April Dragon Month. There’s so much to cover in just one week.

Dragon Week is a community shared creation effort among YouTubers and old bald white dudes from the Midwest flyover states. It was originally created by Ginny Di and Pointy Hat. Last year was Kraken Week. Not really my jam, but… This year is Dragon Week! Woot! Anyone can participate. Guidelines for getting involved here.

I have to give the creators of this one credit. Not only did it apparently succeed on YouTube, but I think it got the community as a whole all fired up for it. I wasn’t too interested in Kraken week, but this year the theme seems to have really caught on.

  • I originally intended to have stats for the Plutonium and Uranium dragons. Those will probably pop up on Monday somewhere down the road.
  • My treatise on Demodragon is still coming. Given the creature’s origins, it should make an interesting adventure.
  • Why is it that when I’m doing fantasy stuff I seem to come up with cool ideas for the GI Joe RPG? Lol!
  • Life goes on outside of gaming. It’s natural, but sometimes incredibly tiring.

That’s really all I have before I fall asleep on my keyboard again. You are awesome! I hope you’ve enjoyed talking about dragons as much as I have. Wonder what next year will look like?
