(Sort of similar…)

I woke up this morning and realized that I forgot to post the Monday Monster, which is funny because it was totally done and waiting to go up. And I haven’t finished today’s worldbuilding article yet, so it’ll keep until next week when I drop a short novel. (LOL?)

Meanwhile, my arthritic knee and I went to the doctor today. On top of upping my meds for not the knee, I can walk with a cane now. Yay? I think. And my A1c came back a bit higher than expected. Yay, more Diabetes fun. The knee just hurts like all Hell and the x-rays revealed nothing.

Some TTRPG related news.

The mailman blessed me Monday with review copies from our friends at Uber Strategist/Free League Publishing/2 Blind Mice. I’ll be doing YouTube reviews of the Dragonbane GM Screen, Dragonbane Bestiary, and Outgunned Adventure very soon. The Outgunned line has become sort of my latest obsession. Written review coming as well.

My email also delivered a pile of good news the other day. Cawood Publishing has released Ghosts of Wrath PDF to backers. It’s a seafaring adventure with lots of undead for various 5E games. (Easily converted to Dragonbane for me.)

Then, because my day was going really well I got an email and Instagram message from our friends at Gates of Krystalia. Reviews of Gates of Krystalia and GoK: Last Deux will be coming to YouTube and here on the blog soon thanks to their gift of the PDF copies of their game. If you know me, you know I love anything anime-inspired. Should be a lot of fun. We were also fortunate enough to be listed as supporters in those books, for which I will be forever grateful.

The next few weeks ought to be pretty busy. We’re also coming up to one year (minus a couple of months off to regroup_ on YouTube. is coming as well and I think we’re going to try for daily posts again for that one. Maybe not a new monster every day, but at least an article on handling monsters, combat against monstrous foes, ways to enhance monsters and NPCs in Dragonbane, and so on. Should be a lot of fun.

My own tentative #Monstober calendar.

Thank you for being here with me today. I appreciate you. Keep it real, but please strive for positivity, too. Please embrace the things that bring you the most joy in your life.
