Portal Custodian.

Description: A man made of metal and clad in faint glowing magical runes. He wears no clothes and has no discernible anatomical features beyond his head, arms, hands, legs, and feet. He moves very slowly. He speaks in a heavy male voice in very slow even tones.

Resistance: Half damage from Bludgeoning attacks. EVADE 10. Parry 10 Absorb Spells aimed directly at it on a 7 or better.
Portal Custodians and his smaller servants were left behind eons ago to guard a portal to another world. The years have caused their memories to fade as to who sent them or why, but they do know how to open the portal. They are easily persuaded.

They will not fight unless provoked and even then only as much as necessary. Their only mission is to guard the portal itself and usher people through it, wherever it leads.

MONSTER ATTACKS

D6 Attacks:

1: Punch: does 1d8 bludgeoning damage.

2: Lightning arc: Covers and area 2 meters wide by 12 meters long in front of the custodian. Does 1d10 damage to anyone in that line. Successful EVADE check puts the targets on the edge of the area.

3: Summon Help: Causes 2 Portal Guardians to appear wherever he chooses within 4 meters of him. They act on the Custodians initiative of their own accord to protect the custodian.

4: Attempt to negotiate: Will only Evade or Parry and try to end the fight by speaking to all in range.

5: Shock! Grabs one opponent within 2 meters and attempts to shock them. Target must make a CON roll or takes 1d4 lightning damage and the victim is knocked unconscious and can never be damaged below 1 HP with this attack.

6: Throw: Custodian tosses anyone within 2 meters back 1d6 meters, knocking them prone and dealing that much bludgeoning damage.

Portal Guardians aka Half-shell-lings.

Appear as small metallic humanoids about the size of a Halfling with shells similar to those of a turtle. Their heads are naturally shaped as mushroom helmets.
