How are you today? Did you get to game yesterday? Was it an epic session?

We had lots of ice roll through Iowa early Saturday morning. All events cancelled. Noone going anywhere. We’ve been cooped up here in the house all weekend. My wife got lots of presents wrapped.

I’m still working on Plucky Pato’s recap of my first major solo session. He’s my Mallard Thief in my solo Dragonbane game. He’s not the most charismatic chap and yet they made him party leader. It’s like Plucky has a major case of Main Character Syndrome. (LOL!)

I’ve also got a video in the works as narrated by that British chap that reads all my scripts for me when I have a house full of children. This weekend he’s talking about Dragonbane and why it might just be better than Dungeons & Dragons. Not sure if it’s going to make deadline or not.

Somewhere in there I’ve also got to get my Monday Monster rolling. This week is going to discuss the Gibbering Mouther as long as that’s not one of the Wizards of the Coast trademark critters. I have a thing for bizarre aberrations that make characters lose their marbles outright. If nothing else it gives players an excuse to ham it up when the craziness gets into their characters. Imagine a trap that sprays the area the characters are in with hallucinogenic spores and then having them run into a Gibbering Mouther and a Gelatinous Cube. (Evil DM laugh.)

Gotta try to stay out of trademark country, though. Monday Monster subject to change on short notice.
