I’m really excited for this adventure anthology.
Here’s a little of what we can look forward to:
“Hooves.”
“Come on, there haven’t been horses around for years,” Pedrina exclaims contemptuously. “You’re just imagining things.”
“I’m sure of it. They are hooves.”
With a resigned sigh, Nrim’to lifts his head from the ground and sits down next to Pedrinaby the small campfire.
Suddenly, the peace is broken by two huge shapes rushing towards the adventurers with axes drawn.
“WE GET GLORY!” the minotaurs roar, delivering a violent blow with their double axes to each of the adventurers.
Coming to the legendary Dead Forest in search of treasure, glory and a solution to the ancient curse laying waste to the forest, the adventurers soon find themselves embroiled in an epic conflict reaching back to the very foundations of the world. The quest will take the adventurers through the depths of the forest, under the mountain, and into a strange new land where the fate of the world will be determined.

Path of Glory was the first major adventure campaign released for the original Swedish edition of the Dragonbane RPG (Drakar och Demoner),in three installments during 1985 and 1986:The Dead Forest, Gates of Power, and Heart of Darkness. This new edition, reimagined and updated by Free League and the original author Roger Undhagen, collects the trilogy in a single volume.
This full-color, hardbacked edition has been given completely new illustrations by David Brasgalla and new cover art by Johan Egerkrans. The rules are fully updated to the latest edition of Dragonbane, and the book includes a large, double-sided map in format 432x558mm painted by Francesca Baerald.

I’ve been looking forward to this release since it was originally announced.

I’m so happy to see more full length adventures for Dragonbane RPG coming out. They’ve teased this for a while now. It’s great that they made it official. November 12 is the big day! I’m hoping to get a review out for it as soon as reasonably possible. (Dear Santa, I’ve been mostly good this year… LOL!)
The artwork is what makes a lot of Free League Games stand out and I’m happy to see the art for Path of Glory will be no exception. It stays with the theme and tone of the core book and Dragonbane Bestiary.
I’m also happy to see new art, a new map, and lots of new places for the PCs to explore. This looks to be a fairly challenging adventure. I wonder how this will play as my version of solo with all five or six party members. (*Hey, don’t judge. Some guys play out entire football games in their head. I just use dice and minis with mine.)
Thank you for being here today with me. I appreciate you. Please embrace the things that bring you the most joy.
