Mystery Dice Goblin.com is Awesome!

I received three sets of really fabulous dice in the mail the other day.

Normally I kind of raise an eyebrow at Mystery Dice because I’m a little picky about my math rocks. Sometimes random grab bags of dice end up being gifts for other people if I don’t like the color or style as much. However, I was pleasantly thrilled with the contents of these three Mystery Dice Bags.

Someone over there in England must just be randomly synced up with my wavelength or something. These dice are more than I could have ever asked for. I was originally a little reluctant to have them send anything to me because shipping from Sussex all the way to BFN Iowa is not cheap. Thank you so much for doing this!

The red set has become my new favorite set of dice. They are currently on display on my desk. I drool a little every time I look at them. Red/Gold is my favorite color combination. Dice with runes or ornate decorations around the numbers are fast becoming my new favorite style of dice. The d20 rolled a Nat 20 straight out of the package.

The second bag I opened made me gasp a little. I think it can even be heard on the video if I don’t edit it out. Yes, I geeked out over these dice a lot. The White/Turquoise with gold numbers goes really well with a couple of sets of dice I’m putting together for my Dragonbane RPG exploits. They are almost perfectly what I was looking for. Again, something or someone over there in England must love me. The d20 rolled a Nat 20 straight out of the package here, too. 2 for 2 on that.

The glitter dice are pretty cool. They perfectly matched another set of Mystery Dice from a different seller. Two things that stand out about the MDG dice are the style of the numbers and the color pattern. Depending on how you look at them, they’re either yellow or pink. I’m not sure if the lighting in the photo does them justice.

Overall, I’m super impressed with these dice. I highly recommend you go check them out. Holiday season is upon us and dice make great gifts for just about anyone, especially roleplayers. These Mystery Dice are among the coolest I’ve ever seen.
