Foo Bird ATTACKS
D6 Attacks:
1: Insanity Droppings: Foo Birds dive bomb any creatures within 10 meters, leaving their foul smelling ichor on their fur, armor, or clothing. Affected creatures may attempt to Evade if cover is available (Including umbrellas, tarpaulins, blankets, and similar coverings.) The obnoxious color and smell aside, the droppings do no immediate damage beyond a Bane on CHA checks. However, any attempt to wash the droppings off causes an immediate roll on the Magical Mishap table of the Dragonbane Core Rules. The droppings will remain until washed off naturally in the rain, jumping in a body of moving water (river, stream, etc.) removed, or destroyed.
2: Ca-Caw! Ca-Caw! The Foo Birds begin cawing and cackling reaching an insane caw-cophony. The sound echoes out to a 30 meter radius from the edge of the swarm. Any creature caught in the area of effect if subjected to a fear attack.
3: Biting and Pecking. The entire swarm descends upon one creature within 10 meters, biting, pecking and clawing furiously for 2d6 slashing damage and causing a fear attack. This attack may be Dodged if cover is nearby OR the creature can “cover up” and make a CON check to avoid damage, costing their move and action for the turn.
4: Eye Contact: One creature within 4 meters of the swarm makes eye contact with a Foo Bird and causing it to fly in the face of whatever unfortunate creature enraged the bird. The enraged bird pesters the creature for an entire round inflicting a Bane on any skill/attack rolls and cutting movement in half. The creature can be Dodged or Parried only with a Shield to avoid this effect.
5: They’re Everywhere! The flock spreads out to attack everyone within 10 meters dealing 1d8 Slashing damage. Can be Dodged or Parried.
6: Go To Ground: The flock lands on the ground all around one creature and attempts to communicate in a bizarre ramble of incoherent arcane phrases that crescendo into a maddening series of squawks and unintelligible words. The effected creature must make a WIL check or suffer the Dazed Condition for 1d6 rounds. The creature is also drained of 1d6 Willpower Points recoverable normally. Willpower Points can’t be reduced lower than 0 by this effect.
