RPG with great art: Tales From the Loop/Things From the Flood by Free League Publishing.

Inspired by and featuring the art of Simon Stålenhag.
I’m constantly fascinated by the art for these games. Tales From the Loop didn’t really get my attention as a game until recently. This art is so disjointed, almost as if it belongs in a different game altogether.

I have a full review of Tales From the Loop and Things From the Flood coming sometime in the near future. I’ve been taking it in along with a lot of other Free League Publishing games. I think Into the Odd falls loosely into that category too IIRC. I’ll get back to you on that as soon as I’ve done a deeper dive into all three products.

Free League Publishing puts out a lot of games with absolutely amazing art. I’ve talked a lot about Dragonbane and its art style. We haven’t gotten into Vaesen, Aliens, Coriolis, Symbaroum, or Twilight 2000 much yet either. I regularly say that art sells games and I think Free League definitely proves it with their books. I haven’t even mentioned half of their games yet and I’m super impressed.

Thank you for being here today with me. I appreciate you. Please embrace the things that bring you the most joy.
