The Universe has blessed me with an abundance of good fortune today.

While still suffering from the Icky Cough-Coughs and bobbing my head trying to find the middle lens, good things are happening. My copy of Shadowdark RPG has arrived. The metal d20 keeps rolling 18 or higher. I even got all of my presents wrapped before Christmas for once.

Even though I’m feeling like I’ve been run over coming and going, things are going pretty darn well. I have good feelings about the year to come in 2024. I believe I’m going to be manifesting a fair number of joyous moments as well as writing a lot of articles to amuse and inspire as well as inform.

I had to bail on one project today.

Ever have that moment when you suddenly realize you forgot to do your homework and it’s due first thing in the morning?

With everything going on I didn’t have a chance to put my entry in the Gregarious Goblin Gift Exchange 2023. I had some really spiffy magic items on the drawing board, but I didn’t have time to do the polish and art that I would like to have accompanying them. The entries themselves will likely end up on here.

I highly recommend going over to Itch.io and checking out all the entries. Link to the Jam page is HERE. Every year Goth Hoblin, Thogreer, and company put on an excellent showing. If you need to borrow, beg, or come up with something on the fly, this is a good place to go. It’s also a good place to find creators that make content you enjoy.
