Storytime. I ordered a free set of dice and a regular mystery set back in September. They hadn’t come yet and here we are in December. I also ordered my wife’s Christmas present, and six mystery sets to use as stocking stuffers back in November. (Yes, one for me. Don’t judge.) We got up to December 17th and I was getting a little concerned that stuff wasn’t showing up yet.

I reached out to Kylee as I had emailed her with questions before about dice and related questions. She’s always been super helpful and incredibly nice to deal with. This was no exception. She got back to me within a couple of days. But it gets even better!

I got four notifications back-to-back that my dice had shipped on December 19th. That package looked full, my friends. I could already tell there was more than I ordered. Kylee had mentioned a couple of extras in the email, and I thought it was cool.

Now, bear in mind all I did was send a short, polite email to ask if they could ship my September order and would they be shipping in time for Christmas. I know how insanely busy things get this time of year and I wasn’t trying to put any pressure on Kylee and her family. (*It’s a family owned/operated business in Texas. I love em.) Honestly, I just wanted to know if I needed to find different stocking stuffers. It was no big deal. Zero pressure and I made no demands, I promise.

My dice arrived today, December 21st. Not only did they arrive Priority Mail (which in this day and age is amazing and pricey,) but there was so much packed into this order I almost fainted. The “Mystery Bonus Package” completely blew my mind. There was an especially chunky metal d20 that rolled a 19 straight out of the envelope. (I’m keeping it close now.) There was also a d6 that looked cool enough to eat and a d12 which will probably be getting used as a picture for blog articles. They also sent me this really sweet, sweet metal d20 dice pin and a tiny resin mushroom.

There were two bonus Color Swirl Ice Cream Dice sets as well as all of the Mystery Dice Sets I ordered and no duplicates! The toughest part is going to be figuring out what to give the family and what to keep. Some of these sets are freaking gorgeous!

Again, I just want to thank Kylee. This dice order was everything I was hoping for and then some. I’m sure my wife is going to love her gift. My kids are dice goblins like me, so that’s going to be a hit. This is awesome. I truly can’t say enough good things about the way this was handled.
