Kind of a short set of notes today as half my family is down with Cov-lalala-id. (*We can’t have that word getting found by SEO. I’m not a doctor and this isn’t about that dis-ease.) Oh, and I might be getting it, too. (Cringe.)

I’m sitting here trying to figure out how to break down a deck of playing cards into random tables. There isn’t a way to do it without an electronic random number generator. If I can’t dice it, what was the point?

52 does not distribute evenly by dice rolls. 13 definitely doesn’t distribute by dice rolls. Time to break out an actual deck of playing cards, of which I have several.

I hear Shadowdark might be physically gracing my doorstep before Christmas. Kelsey Dionne will probably hear me screaming my praises all the way from Iowa if that is the case. That would be my holiday dream come true.

Our digital rewards for the Shadowdark supplement Unnatural Selection dropped today. I’ll have a review up at some point in time. I have several in the works for different games. I’ve got Apocalypse Keys, Girl By Moonlight, two Cypher System books as well as some other reviews on the back burner. It was a big year for TTRPG releases overall.

Work on my first major product on DTRPG is going slower than expected due to layout, art, and editing concerns. I’m probably being too much of a perfectionist. I really intend to do the best job I can with it.

Work on my second major Shadowdark RPG third party product is progressing very slowly. I’ve been adding classes and spells, but the list is growing rapidly.

I signed up for the Indie RPG Creator Summit by Goodman Games/BackerKit. I’m excited to see what they do. I’m doing my best to clear time in my schedule for Harley Stroh and a few other notable speakers. Being a one man show is tiring, so I’ll take all the help I can get.
