The day Wizards of the Coast broke my heart… again. (LOL!)

I’m impressed someone actually took the time out of their busy schedule to push the button that generated the flush letter I received. I sincerely hope whatever poor sap gets the job realizes what they’re in for. I mean, it’s WotC. Their track record over the past year can be summed up with a train wreck.
I offered to straighten it all out. I even gave a very generous salary offer. I’ve talked about this before here. I was more than prepared to take on the job when I wrote this article.
Not my first rejection from WotC. Might not even be the last. I never thought they’d even take me this seriously. I’ve omitted the links to their job site. I can’t imagine why anyone would seriously want to work on D&D right now. They’ve got more than enough help in the game design department, not that Hasbro or even their own execs seem to care much about Dungeons & Dragons the game.
I’ve played nice with this article. I haven’t busted any Content Creator’s chops lately. I haven’t referred publicly to anyone as a “shill” or a “sellout” in recent memory. WotC hasn’t stepped in their own dung heap much this past month or so. The price hike seems a bit unnecessary, but I get that they’re basically greedy as Hell. I’m going to keep playing as nicely as I can for now. (Just don’t send the fashion police or the Pinkertons after me, and it’s all good.)
I’m sure Bigby Presents: Glory of the Giants will still be a “huge hit” for them. (*I’m fighting so hard not to make fun of that title right about now…) Meanwhile, I’ll still be here pumping out amazingly cool blog posts and interesting articles. I think we can all agree, I’m just not WotC employee material. Although other companies might still want me..?
Someday, I might still publish that list of Bigby’s Handy spells you wouldn’t want your mom to accidentally find under your bed. Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate you all so very much. Have a great weekend!
