Description:
Yule-sprites are small, spiteful household fey that appear during winter festivals and long nights. They nest in cupboards, toy chests, and forgotten corners, feeding on resentment, jealousy, and broken promises. When offended, they animate discarded toys and decorations into a skittering brood that delights in mockery, noise, and cruel little ambushes. They do not destroy homes. They make them hostile.

MONSTER ATTACKS
D6 Attacks:
1. Wooden Grasp: A doll arm or nutcracker jaw clamps down on one target for 1d4 bludgeoning damage.
2. Tinsel Snare: Ribbons, strings, or garlands wrap around one target. 1d6 bludgeoning damage and the target is prone at the start of their next turn.
3. Mocking Chorus: A burst of giggling, bells, and whispered insults. Anyone within 6 meters must make a WIL roll or lose either their move or their attack due to befuddlement.
4. Clockwork Jab:  Springs and sharp edges snap outward or silverware scavenged from the kitchen dig into one target within 2 meters for 1d6 piercing damage.
5. Toy Stampede: The brood swarms legs and feet of two targets within 4 meters for 2d4 bludgeoning damage and start their next turn prone. Armor does not apply.
6. Winter’s Spite: A sudden wave of supernatural cold and dread. All characters within 2 meters take 1d6 cold damage.

Special Rules:

Brood Creature:
The yule-sprite brood acts as a single monster. When reduced to 9 HP or fewer, attacks deal one step less damage as toys crack, stuffing spills, and the sprites begin to retreat and bicker. The group may attempt a new Persuasion roll at this time.

House Fey:
Inside a home, workshop, or decorated interior, the brood gains a boon to Sneaking Rolls to hide in plain sight.

Petty but Not Mindless:
Yule-sprites prefer humiliation and disruption over slaughter. They retreat if offered sincere apologies; repaired toys; sacrifices of acorns, pine cones, or chestnuts; or a suitable gift at the GM’s discretion.
